The famous sportswoman has called on Belarusians in Poland to help the independent website.

Multiple world and European champion in swimming, winner of three Olympic medals Aliaksandra Herasimenia has explained how Belarusians living in Poland can support the Charter97.org website. The famous Belarusian athlete, who supported the protests in 2020, transferred 1.5% of her taxes to our team:

- Did you know that in Poland when filing your tax declaration (PIT) there is a very useful feature - 1.5 per cent of the money you pay can be sent to charity, and you can choose who to send it to?

Yesterday I supported the Belarusian Charter'97 website. It is actually quite simple to do this, you only need to enter two figures in your tax declaration:

1. Enter the 0000507234 number in the ‘Numer KRS wybranej organacji (Poz. 147 z PIT-37)’ field. This is the number of FaniMani - a partner organisation that will be assisting in getting help.

2. In the ‘Cel szczegółowy do przekazania 1.5% podatku (Poz. 149 z PIT-37)’ field, you need to enter the 107906 numbers. This is the number of Charter'97 at FaniMani.

If you live and work in Poland and have not yet filed your tax declaration, if you have been thinking about how to help people in Belarus receive independent and truthful information, you have a great opportunity to do so.

And most importantly, you don't spend anything - part of the income tax you have already paid will go to help the editorial board.

Your support is absolutely precious,' Aliaksandra Herasimenia wrote on Instagram.
